Aside from playing in Quintetto Inflagranti, Bernhard Diehl is often heard playing his trumpet in various orchestras such as the Südwestdeutsche Philharmonie Konstanz.  

A passionate teacher, Bernhard has taught at the Music School in Stein am Rhein since 2001, and, from 2010–2017, he was the Head of the Music School in Steisslingen, Germany.

 

Bernhard Diehl studied with Claude Rippas, gaining his Orchestral Diploma from the Musikhochschule Zurich, then continued his studies with Markus Mester at the Hochschule für Musik in Stuttgart.

 

Bernhard lives with his wife in Radolfzell, Germany, where he is also the local mayor.
